Our winter musical performance is becoming a family tradition! Various age groups all on one stage so siblings can perform together.
Inspired by “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”, The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; he’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail?

interACTing Together
Our vision
interACT Performance Academy was founded upon the need for a supportive environment for students to express themselves creatively, free of judgment. In today’s society, even art forms can become competitive at such a young age. Oftentimes, children are told they are “too old” to start a new interest, but we feel the exact opposite. The vision of this academy is to allow all students to express themselves and grow as people, as well as artists, even if they have no prior theatre experience.
classes and program information
Our academic year is divided into two semester long sessions (Aug-Dec and Jan-May) for each class/age group. Each session will stand alone with a unique focus so a student may take either session (or both) over the course of the year without repeating the curriculum. Limited experience is needed dependent on the age group/class selection. Topics, modified with age appropriate lessons, will range from voice and diction, to improvisation and scene work - even how to audition. We will offer 4-week trial sessions periodically over the course of the year, as well as workshops if you are new to trying theatre.

Our 2024-2025 calendar is posted and registration is open for summer and fall 2024. We offer semester-long classes, 4-week trial classes, vocal connections classes, and private audition coaching so register today! Spring 2025 registration will be available in early December.
